My Opinion:
I was a little concerned about this product at first when I read about the palm and olive oil. I thought it may not be right for my oily skin. However, it arrived just after I was stuck outside and accidentally got too much sun on my face. So I opened the box and was hoping for the best. To my delight it worked very well on the sunburned areas, it was soothing as I had to wash my face.
Then within a week I was past the sunburn and was curious to see what it would feel like on my naturally oil skin. So far I like it. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling slick or oily after I rinse it off, which is hard to find in a soap. The results so far are positive and my skin is fairly clear.
Pros:
- Leaves my face feeling clean
- Rinses off well and no “dewy” feeling that leads to breakouts
- It’s a bar of soap so it will last a lot longer than liquid forms, saving me money
Cons:
I’m not sure if I have any on this product. It doesn’t really have a scent so if you are looking for a “female” scent for your soap, this isn’t it.
Final Recommendation:
I would recommend Adovia Sulfur Soap if you have adult acne (like me) and looking for a more natural product that isn’t filled with a bunch of toxins. I give it a thumbs up.
